CloudBackup Exchange 2007 Folder Level Backup - System requirements
Solution

The following system requirements are needed for the support of Exchange 2007 Folder Level Backup:

Due to significant architectural differences between Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2007, there’s no direct support for the Exchange 2007 folder level backup implemented in the Client at this moment. However, it is possible to perform the Exchange 2007 Folder Level Backup from a remote computer, if Exchange 2007 is installed onto a Windows 2003 Server 64 bit system.

To enable the Exchange 2007 remote folder level backup, a computer (e.g. Windows XP with the latest service packs), which belongs to the same domain should be used. The following additional tools need to be installed:

    1. Windows Server 2003 Administration Tools Pack (available via this link)
    2. SMTP service
    3. Exchange System Management Tools (available on Exchange 2007 installation disk)
    4. ExchangeMapiCDO (available via: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=E17E7F31-079A-43A9-BFF2-0A110307611E&displaylang=en)

Both the Client and the Service should be configured to run with Exchange Administrator privileges.
